APPOINTMENTS

All office visits are by appointment only. We are available to schedule your appointments or provide referrals Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We will always try to make appointments with your physician of choice; however, there will be times when your doctor’s schedule is full. You may choose to delay your appointment until an opening appears, ask to be placed on our “Cancellation List”, or see one of our other physicians or nurse practitioners who will be able to see you sooner.

When scheduling your appointment, please let us know the reason for the visit so that we can allow the appropriate amount of time for your child.

We ask that you arrive at the office 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow us to update your demographic information and collect co-pays. Upon arrival, please notify the receptionist if there are any changes in your address, health insurance, or home or work telephone numbers.

We value your time and attempt to keep to our schedule but hospital responsibilities, emergencies, and phone calls can derail us. We will attempt to notify you if we are running late. In return, we would appreciate the courtesy of your calling to cancel if you cannot keep an appointment of if you will not arrive on time.

We can make an appointment for your sick child on the same day that you call. We have a doctor in the office to see sick children every day of the year, although on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays appointments are primarily for the care of children too ill to wait until regular office hours. We do offer a small number of well checkups on Saturday mornings for infants.

If, after scheduling a sick visit for one child, you find that a sibling is also in need of care, please call so that we can determine the best way to accommodate your needs. Asking for siblings to be seen during a scheduled visit without having advised us ahead of time puts the physician in the uncomfortable position of having to refuse or inconveniencing the remaining patients scheduled that day by running behind.

If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us AT LEAST 24 hours in advance. We bill $25.00 for missed appointments not cancelled 24 hours in advance.
